When you step inside the home, you will get a true feeling of what Dolly means when she speaks of her upbringing in a tiny mountain house! Most of the items you see throughout the cabin are original family treasures. The kitchen walls are covered with floral wallpaper and old newspapers, and the table is set with plates and aluminum coffee cups. Dolly’s Tennessee Mountain Home is close to the entrance to the theme park, making it the perfect starting point for your exploration of the park!

2. Eagle Mountain Sanctuary

The Eagle Mountain Sanctuary is a 30,000-square-foot aviary that is home to the country’s largest presentation of non-releasable bald eagles! This is a rare opportunity to see these impressive birds of prey in a spectacular mountain setting! While visiting the Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, you can also see members of the American Eagle Foundation interacting with the bald eagles. Be sure to bring your cell phone or camera along to capture a photo of these majestic animals!

3. Robert F. Thomas Chapel

You can even join in on one of the services, which take place at 11:30 am on Sundays through the regular season and at 5:30 pm on Sundays during Smoky Mountain Christmas.
