1. There Are Multiple Ways to Admire the Beautiful Views

When you visit the SkyPark, admire stunning views from multiple places. First, you will ride on the SkyLift. It takes visitors high above the streets of downtown Gatlinburg to 1,800 ft above sea level. The ride is open-air, so it is easy to see everything. When you get to the SkyPark, you can stand on the SkyBridge to get an even better look at the views. The bridge is 700 feet long with 30 feet of glass in the center. It has set the record for the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America. There is seating on either end where you can relax. The SkyDeck is one great place to unwind. Take a look into the viewfinders while you’re there! They are like looking in binoculars and give you a close-up look at all the scenery.

2. The Holiday Light Displays At Night Are Stunning

If you visit the Gatlinburg SkyPark at night, see the stunning holiday light display in all its glory. The entire length of the bridge is decorated with lights. There is also a 30-foot Christmas tree that is wrapped in more lights and has a star on top. Be sure to bring your camera, as all the decorations make for great photo opportunities. When visiting at night, be sure to dress warmly. The temperature drops significantly at night, and the higher elevation can make it even colder. Dress in layers with a jacket on top. It is also good to wear insulated boots as well as a scarf, hat, and gloves. Cold weather doesn’t have to put a damper on the fun!
