Pigeon Forge has a lot to offer visitors. From fun attractions to the natural beauty of the area, Pigeon Forge has it all! We’re here to help make it easier for you to choose the best places to visit while you’re in town. Here are 3 attractions in Pigeon Forge that you don’t want to miss out on:
The Island is one of Pigeon Forge’s newest attractions. You can shop, eat, try some moonshine or ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel when you visit this hotspot. And, if you’re visiting the area to attend a conference or convention, chances are that it is being held in the LeConte Event Center, which shares its parking lot with the Island. If you end up parking on the event center’s end, no worries! The Island has a shuttle service that will pick you up at stations and take you straight to the Island. A few restaurants at the Island include: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, Dick’s Last Resort and Mellow Mushroom. We know you’ll love an afternoon at The Island, so click here to learn more about the Island .
Go kart riding is a family friendly activity and The Track offers much more than that! From a dedicated area with rides for little ones and two different go kart tracks, there will definitely be something for everyone! The Track also has a mini golf course, bumper boats and bumper cars for the family to enjoy. For those thrill seekers out there, there’s also the SkyFlyer. Height, ages and ticket prices vary depending on the wristband you purchase before you enter the park. You also have the option of buying your rides ahead of time. This works similarly to a fastpass in that it allows you to skip the lines to get straight to the fun stuff! Click here to view ticket prices.
This classic attraction has been drawing in visitors since before it shared a name with Dolly Parton. When most people think Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, they think Dollywood. This country-inspired theme park offers a wide variety of rides for families to enjoy. There’s even a family-friendly roller coaster, the Firechaser! Dollywood also boasts the world’s first hybrid coaster, the Lightning Rod. This coaster mixes technology with good ol’ fashioned physics. The Lightning Rod is a wooden launch coaster which takes you from 0 to 50 in less than one minute! Click here to buy your Dollywood tickets.
