WonderWorks
According to rumors, the WonderWorks attraction in Pigeon Forge is a result of a science experiment gone awry. The upside down house was once located in the heart of the Bermuda triangle before it was lifted and transplanted to the heart of the Smokies.
Luckily, all the exhibits inside the Pigeon Forge attraction were left intact during its travels. Today, guest of all ages visiting the area will love spending a few hours exploring the hands-on exhibits that are designed to both entertain and educate. An example of the fun things to do at WonderWorks include experiencing what it would be like to become a human lightning rod, play one of the world’s largest pianos and stomp out aliens trying to invade Earth.
The Comedy Barn
Considered one of the funniest shows in the Smoky Mountains, The Comedy Barn Theater combines comedy with music to create one unique family-friendly experience. It is one of the only shows in the Smoky Mountains that also includes a talking dog and a mind-reading pig in their act.

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is one of the most popular attractions in the Smoky Mountains all year long. Here, guests have the unique opportunity to stroll through hundreds of different exhibits of intriguing aquatic life that can normally only be found deep below the ocean’s surface. Gatlinburg Space Needle
One of the tallest attractions in the Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg Space Needle offers a 360-degree view of the scenic mountains. Guests will travel 400 feet up to the top of the space needle in a comfortable glass elevator where they will then be free to roam around the observation deck.
If you aren’t that into heights, you and your family will still get a kick out of spending some time at the 25,000 square-foot arcade found at the base of the Space Needle. You can also catch the exciting mentalist show performed by Bill Gladwell in the Irish Theater.
Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort
